Crowns & Bridges in Guangzhou
A crown is the last stage of saving a tooth that has been weakened by decay, a fracture or a root canal. The material and the fit matter far more than the price difference between clinics.
Is this right for you?
Usually suitable
- A tooth with a large old filling that is cracking
- After a root canal, to stop the tooth splitting
- A bridge where an implant is not possible or not wanted
- Worn or heavily discoloured front teeth
Needs a different plan first
- A tooth that still has active decay or gum disease — treat that first
- Very short clinical crowns without a post or surgical crown lengthening
- Heavy night grinding without a night guard afterwards
What the package includes
- Tooth preparation and a temporary crown
- Digital or conventional impression
- The final crown, fitted and adjusted for bite
- A short review before you fly home
Anything not on that list should be itemised separately on your quote. If a clinic will not put the inclusions in writing, that is a reason to walk away — see how to verify a clinic.
Stages and timing
Prepare
Shaping the tooth, scanning, and fitting a temporary crown.
Lab
The crown is milled or built — typically 3–7 days.
Fit
Final crown cemented, shade and bite checked.
Trip planning: Zirconia crowns are commonly fitted within a single 5–7 day trip.
Costs that change the number
- How much work is needed before the main treatment — hygiene, decay, extractions.
- Materials and brands: cheaper systems versus premium imported ones.
- Whether bone grafting or a sinus lift is required.
- Whether anything has to be redone from previous work elsewhere.
